Cài đặt MariaDB từ Official Repository
sudo apt-get install software-properties-common sudo apt-key adv --fetch-keys 'https://mariadb.org/mariadb_release_signing_key.asc' sudo add-apt-repository 'deb [arch=amd64,arm64,ppc64el] http://sgp1.mirrors.digitalocean.com/mariadb/repo/10.6/ubuntu focal main'
Chạy lệnh update
sudo apt update
Output:

Sau khi update hoàn tất và nhận repo mới, chúng ta chạy lệnh cài đặt
sudo apt install mariadb-server -y
Khởi động dịch vụ
systemctl start mariadb systemctl enable mariadb
Kiểm tra lại phiên bản đã cài đặt
root@systuts:~# mariadb -V mariadb Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.6.4-MariaDB, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64) using readline 5.2
Kiểm tra trạng thái cài đặt của MariaDB
systemctl status mariadb
Cấu hình bảo mật MariaDB
Chạy lệnh mysql_secure_installation
root@systuts:~# mysql_secure_installation
NOTE: RUNNING ALL PARTS OF THIS SCRIPT IS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL MariaDB
SERVERS IN PRODUCTION USE! PLEASE READ EACH STEP CAREFULLY!

can log into the MariaDB root user without the proper authorisation.

By default, a MariaDB installation has an anonymous user, allowing anyone
to log into MariaDB without having to have a user account created for
them. This is intended only for testing, and to make the installation
go a bit smoother. You should remove them before moving into a
production environment.

Normally, root should only be allowed to connect from 'localhost'. This
ensures that someone cannot guess at the root password from the network.
